Hello dear ones,

the preparatory work (chasing/chiseling etc.) has begun for the electrical installation. Initially only the interior.
I still have the opportunity to think about "important" things and/or gadgets and would like to get tips/ideas/suggestions from you.

What is already planned:

- enough sockets (in every corner)
- duplex LAN Cat.7 and SAT in every room (except of course bathroom, utility room etc.)
- connections for access points on ground floor and upper floor respectively
- switches and room thermostats
- preparations for electric roller shutters

I am only looking for ideas, not for exact positions.
Maybe you have something great as a suggestion.

Thanks...

Already thought about motion sensors?

Furthermore, I would provide at least 4 network sockets in the living room TV area.
Then cable conduit in the wall to be able to hang the TV on the wall later and pull the cables through

Speaker cables if needed.

- Decorative lighting indoor/outdoor...i.e. cables at corresponding locations.
- Two-way switches in the bedrooms/hallways etc. if no modern electrical wiring is planned.
- Shading control.
- Garden irrigation and power supply for robotic lawnmowers
- ...

Preparation of cables from the utility room to the carport or garage for Wallbox, possibly even with LAN.

Empty conduit in the attic, e.g. for LAN if you want to place an LTE or hybrid router up there.

LAN connections make sense especially in the utility room. Heaters, heat pumps, ventilation systems, photovoltaic inverters (if any of these are installed there) almost all have a LAN connection nowadays. Washing machines and dryers occasionally already do as well.
