Land Planning Southeast Orientation - Ideas

I am missing the classification of the property in the surroundings, meaning, what is going on in the north, east, west ... maybe a general site plan.

And, I would rather orient the terrace towards the southwest ... here is an example:


The yellow overlay is meant to demonstrate the south sun. The advantage here would be that especially in summer the west sun can still be used well. And at least in summer the east sun also has a chance to cast a few rays between the house and the garage.

Would have placed it on the property like KBt09 Possibly with 2 garages. How much would the whole thing shift to the west? Depending on the residential area, I would plan the children's fleet of vehicles between the street and the house. At least the cars wouldn't be in the way

Great input. Thanks for the effort. Unfortunately, I have a construction window distance of about 4.5m to the street at the front. (The overall dimensions of the property are 23m wide, 21m deep) For overall context: It is the yellow property. The red houses do not exist yet - only the "white" ones.

I would probably suggest it like Kerstin. And even with 6 meters garage/carport width, it is enough in the west for a great garden. The terrace would be perfect on the northwestern border. However, with 4 bedrooms in the elongated house, I rather see the two-story option because of the windows.

With a 6m garage, about 9m remain to the west for the garden. If I subtract about 4.5m width for the terrace and another half a meter for the fence or boundary in the west, 4m remain behind the terrace as "lawn." Somehow, that seems like too little to me.
Terrace in the northwest? Does that make sense?
