With a 6m garage, about 9m remain in the west for the garden. If I deduct about 4.5m width for the terrace and another half meter for the fence or boundary in the west, 4m remain behind the terrace as "lawn". Somehow that seems little to me.

Yes, exactly.
You have enough lawn in the south and around it. No one takes anything away from you there, nor does it become less just because you plan your terrace a bit cozier than everyone who places it in the middle of the property.
In this respect, you even have more lawn more centered than otherwise.
Mud kitchen in the north, trampoline in the west... a wide view from the terrace towards the diagonal direction south.
Grill can be placed north in the AB carport, etc... great flow
