This is basically understandable. Your plot is not small but, in my opinion, a long driveway would take up disproportionate space. I consider the suggestion to place the carport closer to the street and the house closer to the carport worth reconsidering.- prefer short distances between garage-house, street-front door, but it doesn't have to be directly on the street (because of the wedge)
Many people plan the terrace. Just as a suggestion: The alternative to a surrounding terrace is simply to create more than one terrace.- my wife would like a "U"-shaped terrace on the east-south-west side, if feasible, but it's not a must
We had success with this approach on a sloped plot. Our imagination was also pushed to its limits by the three-dimensionality of our hillside property. If I now advise you to find an architect who not only wants to make money but is "enthusiastic" about building a house with creative freedom as a "container for your life" – some may recognize me as a formerly active forum member.- we would want to arrange the living spaces accordingly, but we would have that planned individually
Take a drive through Bergisches Land and look at alternatives. Straight doesn’t always mean beautiful.I don’t know (as written, the neighbors to the east suggested the L-stone solution, but it was already said that this is nonsense)
