We had dealt with the development plan. I also know that clinker, mixed facade, or whatever else is allowed. I meant that I have not dealt with the building permit but the architect has. Because I am not familiar with laws and regulations. Sorry, this is my first time building. And there is just too much you need to know. Since we discussed everything with the architect beforehand, he has already submitted everything properly. What is happening now with the facade, I cannot say, as I do not know. The question was rather how we implement it, since we definitely want to use clinker or slips now. Which system is recommended for a clinker overlay?

That's already something and allows you your current wishes.

Your architect should have an answer for this question.

Certainly he knows what would be theoretically possible. However, what has already worked well for others or has become established in the market might be better known by others, whom I have tried to find here in the forum. After all, that is what a forum is for, isn’t it?

Does your architect know about your project?
Your approach, which you want to take - as already mentioned - is very rare...

Yes, it was briefly discussed with him. He wanted to solve the problem with straps. We are simply not convinced by the straps, but I already mentioned the whole thing.

Certainly, it is not normal, but before we annoy ourselves about it for life, we want to do something about it now. We decided against a fully brick-clad house for cost reasons. We also did not like the appearance until we came across the mixed facades.

Good evening,

A bit late... Your ideas for the facade design...

I have already written about slips in the other thread.

Counter question: did you make use of the building window?

Rhenish regards
