Hello,

I am currently working on our kitchen planning. Now the question of the brand arises.

I am torn between Neff and Siemens/Bosch. Neff, because I have only heard good things so far, and Siemens, because now the second salesperson said they are much better than Neff (although both salespeople could/wanted to offer only Siemens).

Now I am wondering, should I stick with Neff, or are the Siemens appliances really good?

What actually matters to me:
Induction stove with a lot of space and no stupid touch sensors...

A stove that at least has the standard features, i.e. separate switching for top/bottom heat. Convection. Additionally, I want one that can do pyrolysis, not just have it in the manual, and a built-in thermometer for doneness would be nice. Steam would be good, although I have already read that that hardly works.

Extractor hood must be recirculation.

Refrigerator with lots of space for vegetables and drinks.

Separate freezer or chest freezer.

What are your experiences?

The saleswoman at Höffner recently pointed out to us that it all comes from one source.
See Wikipedia: "In addition to the main brands Bosch and Siemens, it also markets a number of specialty brands: Gaggenau, Neff, Thermador, Constructa, Viva, Ufesa and Junker."
On the dishwasher, you can see very clearly that the division is exactly the same with Bosch/Siemens/Neff and co.
Whether slight technical differences make a noticeable difference is something everyone has to decide for themselves.

Are there still some with knobs? : )
Such a 90 cm stove is something special. Do you have the space for it?
Induction apparently isn’t as prohibitively expensive as it used to be. Are there qualitative differences?

I would rely on an external thermometer. For example, Outdoorchef Gourmetcheck (I use it for BBQ). The thermometer on the oven will never be able to show you the correct temperature, let alone that of the food.

Thank you, we have meanwhile decided on Siemens (ist ja das Gleiche wie Bosch). It was mainly because of the kitchen studio and their special conditions. From Neff, we would have taken only the induction cooktop if at all. But now we are cooking on gas.

Hello,

I am certainly "old-fashioned" ... but everything from one brand is a "no go" for me. Stove from Bauknecht (Bauknecht knows what women want ), Minna from Siemens, extractor hood from Kolbe and refrigerator from LG. Since everything is stainless steel, the mix of brands is not noticeable at all.

Kind regards

hehe well gas stoves are hard to get in Germany, and I am glad that the Siemens stove meets our requirements, and at 1300 € is not quite as expensive as, for example, the dream from Gaggenau (3000€) the oven should simply be able to bake, the dishwasher should wash, and not bother me, and we had special requirements for the refrigerator, which only an AEG met. The Siemens would have been 1000€ more expensive. The brand on it doesn't really matter to me anyway, and since everything is fully integrated anyway Only for the oven did I absolutely want rotary knobs... these "Touch - haumichtot-controls" drive me crazy.

Hello,

The Jehova theme of the kitchen par excellence. I also used to cook with gas a long time ago, back when I was still on my own => we didn’t want to be latchkey children. But to keep the temperature of the food somewhat stable, a gas stove is little to no use; I was then forced to use the grandma tactic, you know, wrapping things in newspaper and such.

At some point, I had enough and bought my first electric stove. That was about 25 years ago now and I wouldn’t want to trade it for anything in the world. The first stove still had the "disadvantage" that it took longer to reach temperature – today it heats up just as quickly as gas. And – what I always liked – I can turn it off a good 10 minutes before and essentially finish cooking “for free.” Sure, you can’t skip flames – but for that, there’s the good old match

Also old-fashioned; I like that

Kind regards
