Quietness and a lot of power are of course important features - especially in recirculation mode, grease extraction is also important. It is of no use if the extractor hood sucks in all the fumes but then blows all the dirt back into the room. How much do you want to spend and which type of extractor hood (cooktop extractor, wall-mounted hood, island hood, etc.) do you need/favor?
