Is the Ikea walnut worktop different now?

Hello! We have an approximately 4-year-old Ikea kitchen with a walnut veneer countertop. Now we want to expand the kitchen a bit, but the new countertop I bought looks completely different. The appearance of the old countertop consists of many small wood pieces, whereas the new countertop has large pieces. Do I have a chance of still getting the old countertop? 4 years is not that old after all?!?
