... and then calculate the investment costs and the financing costs of the technology as well as its electricity and maintenance costs. And in 15 years, the expensive technology must be replaced. The loan conditions of the [KfW loans] are not so great compared to a normal annuity loan.

Ecological building makes sense, but is currently being crushed between questionable [KfW] conditions and borderline promises from the heat pump mafia... uh... salespeople.

We have dropped all this [KfW] nonsense, insulate well, install a gas condensing boiler, and achieve the Energy Saving Ordinance 2009 together with the 15% rule. We prepare for later retrofitting of solar, photovoltaics, or heat pump (if they should ever become really efficient).

Kfw70 is not the same as Kfw70. That by no means means that you save 30%. That’s just silly! It’s number shifting to the power of 10. Just because I reach Kfw70 on paper, for example with a heat pump, doesn’t automatically mean I pay 30% less compared to an energy saving regulation (KfW100). Or solar thermal energy. Same thing. On paper it looks good, in real life it’s nothing!

But be that as it may, 30% of about 40-50€/M will in my opinion never pay off. Especially since the meter fee (for me 8€/M) doesn’t drop by 30%.

A controlled residential ventilation system, for example, brings no financial benefit, but on paper it looks good. However, the comfort is still worth it to me!

That's more the discrepancy between theory and practice. ;-)

My opinion: If you are already somewhat focused on comfort (the underfloor heating or ventilation mentioned by Bauexperte), any additional measures necessary for KfW 70 are possibly marginal. In my case, the building envelope (transmission heat loss) would even be suitable for KFW 55, but since a heat pump is not desired, the house will simply receive a KfW 70 stamp.

Well, to be precise, it is 70% of the PRIMARY energy of the reference house. That does not mean you only have to consume 70% of the final energy ^^

We also want underfloor heating and have now decided on a ventilation system, although we still want to check what additional costs this will entail.

Yes exactly, this was also told to us in a conversation, that in the end it is just nicely calculated, but you don’t automatically save 30% in costs.

Thanks for the many answers.
