Is it sensible for the expert to inspect the base plate?

Get yourself an expert, and one who comes to the construction site more than 2 or 3 times, that is, when you want him there. It costs, but otherwise you’ll never sleep again if you're already this uncertain.

He can tell you if the foundation slab has frost damage; under certain circumstances, he might take samples, I don’t know.

But then you also have to live with the consequences if he thinks something is wrong. So construction stop, arguments with the excavation contractor about who’s to blame, maybe a counter-expert opinion, delays in your construction-related services, possibly additional claims from the prefabricated house provider for extra effort or expiration of the price guarantee, etc.

Oh man, I have the same problem as the thread starter and am just as suspicious and uncertain by nature.

On Friday, the floor slab was poured without us being informed. I didn’t want it yet because something with the authorities still had to be clarified (formalities), I thought it would be stopped until that was settled. We have our own surveyor, he looked at the foundation, reinforcement I think it’s called, was very satisfied. Afterwards, the floor slab was poured on Friday, February 3rd. The weekend was always above 5 degrees ... Tuesday it was below zero. At some point, it rained on the floor slab and there was a puddle ... I am totally uncertain. What do you say to that?

All good, pouring the slab on Friday and frost on Tuesday, nothing more can happen. Next time call the expert and ask him, he is familiar with the topic

Okay, one more question... On Monday I received pictures showing a puddle on our floor slab,... that means it must have rained, is that also harmless?

After 24 hours, the concrete no longer cares if there is water on it.

All good, stay calm :) have a nice Sunday!

Hello, we have to do the electrical planning on Tuesday and decide where the sockets should go. What were the mistakes you made in the electrical planning? I have one tip, since [womTV] will be here, the socket should be in the wall so that the TV can be hung up and have power directly behind it and you don’t have to pull the cable to the socket...
