With the currently increasing number of electric vehicles and hybrids, I would no longer rely on free charging stations. They are either constantly occupied or being phased out. I don't really believe in an expansion. It's more likely that you charge entirely at home. That should be cheaper than charging at a paid charging station.

this can be done expensively through system solutions, e.g. "all components from SMA" (where you have to load a lot for it to ever pay off), more reasonably priced for example in the form of an openWB wallbox or in "self-made" form, that's how I have already implemented it, using a controllable wallbox (unfortunately there are not so many of those, in my case go-eCharger) and a piece of software that queries data from the inverter and controls the wallbox accordingly.

This can also be done quite easily by buying a modern system that can distribute the generated energy by default. A lot of development goes into this and consequently soon the attention of interested parties as well. Since I currently have an order with a manufacturer of inverters and battery storage systems, I refrain from more detailed discussion or evaluation of manufacturers. That would be neither transparent nor objective.
