Hello everyone,
I have already read the installation instructions. The cork insulation just seems a bit "meager" to me. That’s why I was thinking about this massive impact sound insulation. If the standard one is also sufficient and gives a pleasant "sound," then that’s of course fine with me. I just didn’t want a laminate click-clack.
I also contacted Haro about this. I received an answer saying that you should not use a second underlay as stated in the instructions. Walking movements could occur that could damage the click connection.
That sounds plausible to me, but you can’t compare all underlays. This one is extremely massive and hardly gives way when walking (if at all). It’s not a 3mm foam underlay.
