Yeah, I think so too based on what I hear. I believe I am really making an effort myself. Thanks to everyone.

Do you mean that I am getting too little pressure from the water connection that is being routed outside?

It won't be much but that can be solved with smaller circles. For manufacturers such as [hunter], the flow rates are available for each head.

Hard to judge, in principle you can increase the pressure on the pressure reducer to 5.5 bar without anything in the house being damaged. Then quite a bit will come out. Otherwise, you just build several small circuits. This is especially important for the throw range of the pop-up sprinklers on the lawn. Drip pipes have their own pressure reducer anyway, which limits the flow rate to 1,000 liters per hour.

XFS dripline withstands over 4 bar and does not necessarily require a pressure reducer. I would not limit the flow rate. XFS is pressure-compensated and can be up to 100m long. One dripper every 30cm.

Meanwhile, after reading the many good pieces of information here, I have completely abandoned "underground" for hedges and individual plants. Only with the lawn am I still considering it – and one aspect is indeed the unobtrusiveness: With a robot-mowed lawn, I am already the villain here – if the sprinklers come on in the evening, the mob with torches and pitchforks will be at the door the same night. Underground mats would prevent that ;)
