The water meter is installed at the entrance of the multi-utility house connection, right? You mean I can also get a bigger one there that then supplies me with more water inside the house or through the pipes?

Yes, exactly. That is the bottleneck.

We are still allowed to irrigate, but no one does it for grass here. It will turn green again in the fall.

Is a higher flow rate needed for 150 sqm?

True, who likes green grass when sitting outside in summer or walking barefoot on it. That really makes more sense in autumn or spring ;)

150sqm is not much and a standard rectangular sprinkler would probably be enough for that. But it is definitely convoluted around the house and then needs a few more sprinklers. And if you then put it into a circle to avoid valves...

I don't know what it looks like in the Black Forest, but in Upper Swabia some districts have already prohibited watering from rivers and lakes. And even though the rain in June looks significantly better than at Haydee (see screenshot, but there are also some heavy thunderstorms), there are already several brown spots in unwatered areas here. And practically nothing is forecast for the next two weeks.

Wednesday and Thursday are expected to bring precipitation again. With heavy rain, an additional 10-20m3 can quickly accumulate in the cistern.

With low flow rates, (depending on the model) only 1-3 sprinklers can run simultaneously. The more zones required, the more expensive it becomes (valves, piping, pump runtime, etc.).
