What’s the point of this post? Of course, the roller shutters have been mentioned from the beginning. I have often noticed that you only read what you want to read and then go around “peddling” it. And then constructing an accusation from that is unworthy of a moderator. If you had answered one of my posts, you would probably have also added a recommendation to read the Duden, see the child-or-house thread.

Since when do you have to provide "fundamental proof" here? Are we in court?

On the topic: Can you post a photo of the door frames? From your description, the house actually moves by centimeters, that’s how I interpret your descriptions of the doors and roller shutters. Have the movements come to a stop?

Where exactly is there any mention of roller shutters at the _beginning_?

A house ages. To whatever extent, probably not as the OP presents it.

But it doesn’t help anyone to talk about _defects_ after 7! years in a forum.

Anyone reading this thread should be made aware that if they believe they have found a defect covered by warranty claims in their house, they should either have an expert check it and then report the defect in writing to the builder or do it without an expert.

The expert should have already been called during construction in the winter phase/expansion if the builder was already aware that times or frost/moisture were not being considered.

To launch a broadside after 7! years is in no way helpful. The affected party is frustrated and loses focus on the essential, namely minimizing the damage or at least ensuring that the damage does not get worse and/or identifying the cause.

Rather, the former builder, i.e. , should now ask, and more sensibly in respective individual posts, how one or the other issue could be resolved.

Hello hello, what's going on now? I'm not from yesterday and as already stated, damages were of course recorded in writing within the deadlines. Since all interior finishing work was carried out by the BU because it was commissioned and paid for that way, we also don't have to take care of any matters on the construction side. And by the way - have you ever heard of hidden defects? Different regulations and deadlines apply there.

Thanks to those who tried to help me with the matter and to find an explanation for the damages. Unfortunately, I am not an expert, otherwise I wouldn’t be here asking. I also never intended to confront the manufacturer with heavy measures like an expert report right away. In any case, I am now somewhat wiser, as I can now explain that much is probably related to the movement of the house, so I can better understand the problems myself. But I also think that something moves a lot in the house. And this is, for example, a hidden defect. And of course a house ages, but I don’t believe that a house has to be considered aged at 7 years.

Especially since the problems are not only occurring now but are partly getting worse. And maybe Yvonne can explain to me how I should "hold on to" the house to minimize damage.

First, it would need to be clarified what exactly is moving and why. Do you possibly have smaller earthquakes or subsidence? Then neighbors would also have problems. Otherwise, as mentioned, one must first find out the cause (the house itself or the ground) before it can be fixed... Do you have tiles in the lowest floor (basement or ground floor) and are they cracking?
