Good evening,
we were "lucky" enough to have a material defect occur in the reinforcing adhesive of our plaster system, which caused countless cracks in the house. The insurance of the plaster manufacturer took over the matter, and the entire plaster was removed down to the ETICS or, in uninsulated areas, down to the masonry. Since this allowed the problem to be resolved well, the plasterer showed great care during the re-plastering and wedged the roller shutter boxes before applying the plaster so that they would no longer deform toward the slats. As a result, 90% of the roller shutters were freed, and where it was still too tight, well, the roller shutter box was really adjusted again. Even though our plasterer is a good company and the boxes are unfortunately absolute junk (deformable with a little finger, impossible to plaster without deformation without wedges), I think it was ultimately his fault.
Also a good indication: After removing the plaster and the glued panels on the roller shutter box, the roller shutters were mostly free-running again without sanding.
I wish you a lot of patience, and my experience is unfortunately that a letter from a lawyer carries more weight than self-imposed deadlines :(
Best regards
Benjamin
