All possibilities and ideas have already been described above. Unfortunately, there is no other solution.

ehm, question about that: Why don’t you just put the drawer higher in the cabinet..? Usually the mounting requires 1-2 holes and the hinge as well...

I have an 11-year-old folding door Pax and in one part, due to the original setup (insertion with wire baskets, 1m carcass, installation about 90cm wide) only three of the four hinges are in use, and that has been without problems for years.

Because I don't want to just give away those 2 holes. Or what should I put there? To make the best possible use of everything, in my opinion, the wire basket option is the most sensible.

Giving away is one thing - but it is a solution that nobody has mentioned so far. And for 2 holes - sorry, what do you put on 2-3 cm? Since the 2 holes are then missing at the very bottom, the given-away space does not matter to me either.

For example, I have this issue with the Faktum base cabinets: The hinges are also at the very bottom there, and if you use a basket or drawer, you automatically have to use the first two holes at the bottom for the hinges, because otherwise it doesn’t work at all (or you attach the door to the drawer).

With the wire basket that works, but not with the drawer. If I install the wire basket, I don’t waste any space; with the drawer, it’s about 3-4 cm. What can I put in that space?

If someone doesn’t care, they can of course leave an empty space there. For me, I won’t waste that space, even if the wire basket is not the nicest.

Even with a wire basket, space is wasted. The strip requires two holes for mounting. When the basket is inside, you can't put anything underneath - so it doesn't really matter whether it's a drawer or a basket - both, when the door is installed and the hinge is used, do not sit directly on the base plate but each has some space underneath.
