Ikea Pax utility room/laundry room system? - What do you have?

The only thing that is still carried up and down here are the towels from the guest bathroom and the cloths from the kitchen.

One route that could still be considered: you also hang laundry outside in the garden sometimes, which makes the utility room on the upper floor less practical again...

We had thought about that at the beginning too and then noted how often we hang laundry outside in the garden.. That hardly ever happens here anymore.

"Sometimes" means: not often. Now and then, rather rarely. More so elsewhere. ;) Put that in relation to your loads of laundry.

Honestly, that was an ironic understatement. I mainly plan to hang [im Garten] if the weather allows. Before my wife moved in with me, I almost exclusively hung my laundry on the balcony. At least from April to October.

With us, outdoor drying - as long as the weather permits - is an integral part of laundry management. In winter, the wood stove sometimes has to serve as a "laundry dryer."

Same here. I would never have thought that people with a garden don't also use it for drying laundry before I read this here.

I always have to think of the fat, immobile people of the future in Wall-E when it comes to path avoidance logic. :)
