How to use this service

Good to know

You will receive a detailed sketch of your room with room dimensions (height, length, width), positions and sizes of windows and doors, room angles at countertop height, determination of wall conditions, and the positions of the connections (water, electricity, gas)

Since the house is not built yet, you can simply use a divided window. For example, the lower 20 or 30 cm are fixed and only the part above can be opened. Even if there is no sink in front of it, I find that quite practical in kitchens. Maybe there is something else (coffee machine etc.) in front of it that you don't have to put away. You could also consider choosing the window height so that the countertop runs into the window and replaces the windowsill. If the dishwasher is placed on the left, it could also be built up.

Yes, you can attach the countertop to the wall with a simple wooden batten. I would pre-drill the wood and also insert the chipboard screws from below before you lay the countertop on. Be sure to use screws with partial threading (not full threading) for fastening the countertop from below.

If the gap between the cabinet and the wall is only necessary because of a 5cm wide filler strip, you do not need to additionally support a 38mm thick countertop. But wooden battens are a good aid when assembling the kitchen; I always screw them behind the filler strips so that they can be attached to the side of the cabinet.
