Hello,

after waiting for over an hour on hold with the Ikea hotline yesterday, I was finally able to speak with a nice lady, who unfortunately had no idea and could not help me. Therefore, I hope that I can get help here.

After moving, the kitchen had to be changed as well. On this occasion, I also expanded it a bit. I have a Faktum kitchen with Applad black fronts.

I will describe my problems and start with the one I consider easier.

After the move, my wall cabinets (92 cm high) now more or less hang freely in the room. Now I would like to have side panels for them. However, in the repurchase shop there are only ones with a height of 99 cm. Do these need to be cut to size or is there another solution?

The problem I find more difficult concerns the oven cabinet. Previously, I had a normal base oven cabinet with a 9.4 cm oven drawer underneath. The oven should now be installed in a 217 cm tall tall cabinet with a 57 cm high door below and a 92 cm high door above the oven.

1) If I put the 9.4 cm panel in between, everything is so tight that the doors scrape everywhere. I’ve already tried adjusting the doors completely up or down, but that doesn’t help much. The oven rests on the bottom door.

2) How is the panel attached?

3) Is it possibly even possible to continue using the oven drawer?

I hope for some helpful answers and thank you very much in advance.

Hello,

The other solution is to install light strips (= decorative strips) under the cabinets.

If the oven is installed in a tall cabinet, the 9.4 cm panel must be adjusted. The exact measurement depends on the oven. For orientation:

Whether the oven drawer still fits in between, you have to try out and check that the ventilation is ensured according to the manufacturer's instructions of the oven.

Thank you...

How is the panel supposed to be attached inside the cabinet?
There is nothing mentioned about this in the instructions for my oven, and no materials for fastening were included either.
Are there any tips or experiences regarding this?

The brackets are included at the front.
