Ikea Faktum front mounting, is making your own drill holes sensible?

we bought a completely new kitchen at Ikea. That's right, it is the Faktum and in our case with Abstrack Gray High Gloss fronts.

We mostly bought pull-out cabinets and here we have a small problem.

We have the waste separator drawer system and are now facing the following problem. The lower and middle drawer tops fit, everything is fine, but now there is a hole at the top, where we also bought a matching panel that we would now like to install.

But that's exactly where it fails. There is nothing to attach this top front to. Neither holes inside where something can be clicked in, nor holes on the middle drawer upwards, where the front could be attached from above.

Does anyone have an idea? It can't be that we have to attach this front by drilling into the particleboard of the middle drawer front ourselves and using wooden dowels, thus losing the warranty.

Who can help here before I use the board as a boomerang :)

Hello,

there is no mounting material for this panel as it is actually considered a drawer front and therefore does not require any extra mounting. So, to be precise, the fronts for the sink cabinet are just being repurposed.

But it’s not a problem at all. Get two small metal brackets and a few small wood screws from the hardware store and attach the panel from the inside of the cabinet. Done.
