Ikea Faktum base cabinet problem with the front

After assembling 2 Faktum base cabinets with drawers, 30 x 70cm and 50 x 70cm, there is a problem with the large front on the 50 x 70cm type.

Large front open at the top when closed.
Gap widens from bottom tightly closed to about 1cm open at the top.
Installed incorrectly or front crooked?

How can the front/drawer be removed?

with one centimeter, you should actually be able to see it from the front if it were warped.
Were the rails perhaps installed crookedly? But that would mean that the drawer, after being pulled out a bit, would come out completely by itself.

Since it is very difficult to reach under the rails, I would remove it using the Ikea method: pull the drawer out a bit, grasp from underneath at the front, and pull the drawer up off. You will feel like something will definitely bend or break, but that does not happen.

Unfortunately, no pictures can be seen.

the thing with the pictures somehow didn’t work out. Probably the wrong image server. Do you know one without a password where you can also find your pictures? In the pictures, everything can be clearly seen.

I tried the side lock at the front, gray panel, turning and pulling out the front. No success. Then there are supposed to be some bumps at the bottom that you have to press. Also no success. If I could get the front flap off first, I would already be a lot further. Checked the rails with a spirit level, everything’s fine.

Today I got an email from the “friendly service.” I withhold my response now, though. Why can’t IKEA also properly document the removal options for the different drawers and everything to do with locks and rails.

One could also post small videos like on YouTube, either at IKEA, in the forums, or on YouTube.

please take a look at page 17 of the instructions for the drawers - it explains how to adjust the front vertically using the drawer rails.
Whether the front is warped is difficult to assess from your pictures.

1. Check if the drawer is properly seated at the back or if it only rests on the rail at the back and can tilt forward. 2. Check with a straight bar if the front is straight. 3. If 1. and 2. are fine and the rail is properly mounted, then adjust the tilt as IKEA-Friend wrote.
