domsjö drop-in sink and HAMMARP countertop 2.8cm
I am desperate about choosing the countertop, according to Ikea only 3.8 cm slabs fit, the Ikea employee said the in-house installers also said that it doesn’t fit.
I myself am of the opinion that it should actually work, that’s how it looks in the showroom anyway.
The sink just slides 1 cm further down, and there should be that much clearance.
It’s also said not to fit with the induction cooktop because there is supposedly too little clearance underneath.
If the countertop prices were not so different, I would of course immediately take the 3.8 cm.
But we need a total of 5 meters on both sides, so that’s with HAMMARP 2 x 129 € for solid oak.
The 3.8 cm is supposed to cost 160 € per meter.
Has anyone installed the combo 2.8 cm and drop-in sink? Or does it actually cause problems?
