Ikea Domsjö double sink and dishwasher next to it

Hello Ikea fans,
the nice kitchen planner told us that there always needs to be a cabinet next to the domsjö inset sink?

Isn't there maybe a solution for the inclined DIYer? We would so much like to have the sink centered in front of the window.

Where should the sink rest?
There is a reason for having a cabinet on the left and right...

Heavy-duty brackets and cover panel between sink and dishwasher?

It might be helpful to show the floor plan and the positioning of the cabinets. ;)

The countertop can rest on the sink cabinet, but 18 mm is little as the sole support. Work must be done very precisely, and in case of warranty, it may be said that it was not properly installed.

Funny that Ikea has it exactly the way on their official website, which according to the kitchen planner is not allowed.

: A good idea, could work, since I would have to cover about 10 cm of free space next to the dishwasher anyway.

Edit: Here is the kitchen:

Currently, there is a 20 cm cabinet between the sink and dishwasher, but I would rather tend to remove the 20 cm one and replace the 40 cm one to the right of the sink with a 60 cm one. What do you think?

After the planning, a cabinet is next to the sink and the sink is centrally located under the window, which was mentioned as the most important point in the first post. The sink is no longer central if the 40 cm cabinet is replaced by a 60 cm one, which makes sense. There is definitely still room for optimization.
