Hello!
I have noticed the following:
For the new Besta carcasses (64x60x20 and 120x64x40), there are no plugs included to cover the threads in the bottom in case the carcass is hung on the wall. This really looks quite silly.
However, these plugs are listed in the online assembly instructions, but not in the assembly instructions included with the carcass!
I have hung a total of 3 carcasses (64x60x20) on the wall. 2 pieces in black-brown with display cabinet doors, 1 piece in grey stained walnut imitation with a closed door. Now, of course, you can see the threads on the underside where the feet are screwed in (which I don’t need).
Since the assembly instructions differ (online and enclosed), I contacted Ikea customer service. Because this cannot remain as it is.
So if anyone plans to use BESTA as a wall cabinet, they can contact customer service directly and reorder the plugs in the appropriate color and quantity.
