I do think it could work. It also depends on what you manage to do on your own. Could you be a bit more detailed with your explanations? To address your question: How much can or do you want to repay monthly? With 600 euros and 1.9 percent interest, it might get tight before you retire.

Yes, it works! I was just at the bank. I was told - if I have €1000 per month left for myself, nothing stands in the way of financing. A full repayment loan over 15 years or a 10-year one with special repayments was offered to me. Now I have to calculate and compare.

Congratulations. And don’t let yourself be confused by some here who can only imagine building beyond 400 anymore. Of course, in SH there is a properly done solid construction for around 160 and of that size. Our 13.5 by 10 house bungalow also comes to 163. Of course, there is room to negotiate, if you work with the utility regarding the additional costs. Of course, the 160 does not include painter work, driveway, or click vinyl. And probably no roller shutters, which are almost unknown in SH, nor a controlled residential ventilation system, which only a few people here take. Who will be your construction company? Team massiv? Or a smaller one? With Team massiv, the basic standard is very tight, so the bargain price is somewhat deceptive. Karsten

Hello Karsten, thank you for your encouraging words. It is exactly as you describe. The costs refer "only" to the house. And I also have Team in my closer selection, but the surcharge policy and the very long construction time bother me a bit. With ECO Haus I have the problem that I get extras(Controlled residential ventilation and roller shutters) that I do not want, but if I remove these extras the offer price no longer applies. Otherwise, the offer is great. 170,000 euros with underfloor heating, windows with mushroom head locking, additional shower on the ground floor and of course the Controlled residential ventilation and roller shutters. Then I have a smaller provider called Virtus. A conversation is still pending. It remains exciting... Do you know any smaller providers? Regards Ralf
