We built a house in 2001 and are now building another house with the same company. Our current house costs 179% of the house price from 2001. Of course, the wall structure has improved and we have a ventilation system, but it has still become quite a bit more expensive.

Best regards

You are right. For 160 thousand, there is nothing reasonable. The 4 developers I spoke with are liars who hid the real costs. I will now also save on the outdoor water tap and shower curtain. However, that will take a while because the tap is supposed to be made of gold. Alternatively, I will look for an apartment so that the poor children don't have to work in the garden during their free time. I do feel sorry too....[emoji16]

Seriously: I really keep my fingers crossed for you that it works.. and "if you have guts," then post HERE IN THE FORUM AFTER moving in an overview of the total costs WITHOUT any "sweeping things under the rug." If it really ends up being something like 1300..1400..1500 EUR per sqm.. then you have my utmost respect

NOT because the construction company was so "cheap".. but BECAUSE you were so tough and really gave up certain things to get to this price. No one has been able to show me that yet

Regards, Steffen

PS: We started planning in 2014 and calculated with 1550 (my parents built for 1300 per sqm 10 years ago (Brandenburg)).. in the end it was about 2200 per sqm.. surely because there is some extra stuff in there (KNX etc.).. BUT 1550 is completely unrealistic.. ordinary would maybe be 1800..

You are right, Steffen. Our "bare" house without painters, floor coverings, fireplace, photovoltaic system, double garage, hedges, fences, gate, etc. was 1400 per m2; really all in it is then 2700; without the land. With 1500 per m2 you live in a few bare walls... anyone who tells themselves otherwise will only be negatively surprised later.

Whereas I ONLY speak about the house. Nothing outside of that is included (land, garage, etc.)...
