We would probably have to pay it off over 40 years :D I had calculated: About 65,000 for the basement About 250 for the turnkey house About 50,000 for connections and groundwork About 20,000 for the carport And 50,000 for the plot of land I must be very naive :D

You are currently calculating with 1600€ per sqm of living space. Those are figures that are at least 7 years old. Also, you forgot the landscaping and finishing work. ...and I myself built 140 sqm plus basement on a slope, which was over 550k€ three years ago, since my plot was expensive I left out the price increase. All without furniture, kitchen, and inventory, of course. In principle, it will get 10-20% more expensive again in 2-3 years anyway.

The question is what you want to afford. If you say basement and 160sqm, then definitely no. No chance. With that, you are already at €1750 + €400 additional costs at 2% repayment and after 20 years still have a remaining debt of €265k. I do see a smaller house on a straight plot without a basement as quite feasible without compromising. For example, 145sqm would not be small.

Then take a look at existing houses! Detach yourself from that one plot of land.. Why are you so stubborn about it? Which area is it?
