The composite boards would cost €70 - good to know, thanks. We are currently playing around with the idea of laying [Klinkerpflaster] - everywhere - I’m just a bit worried about maintaining the joints.
How much does the garden cost? Got the first offer

Brick paving is beautiful, but it would be too maintenance-intensive for me because of the joints.

The benches will still be clad with Cumaru decking boards.
So, the first bench is finished. It will just be oiled tomorrow.
The bench is "hollow" inside. There is a waterproof storage box inside. Through the hinges at the back, the bench can be folded up backward.
Tomorrow, the corner bench will start. Working with wood is fun.

I will also post photos soon when the other corner bench is finished.
Yesterday I treated the already finished bench with teak oil.
This way the wood is even better protected.

The landscape gardener called and said that Wienerberger Baltrum is very expensive (compared to others) and he believes that yellow doesn’t fit that well. He suggested Dresden for us (anthracite / red-tinged). He would also use it for the terrace, as the bricks are good for arches. Joint maintenance is the argument for larger slabs – one would have to consider that.
