Can't you watch it somewhere yourselves? I wouldn't rely on the opinion or taste of the landscape gardener. Ultimately, it has to please you. Besides, I would never buy material without seeing it. In reality, it always looks different than in photos.

The items that we liked in the catalog were unfortunately almost all not on display at the building materials dealer. However, it was not a problem to get a sample piece (of our terrace slabs even a whole square meter). Just as a tip

We already have 3 stones here - they were basically delivered to our home because the neighbor works at the building materials store. They are all the rather black specimens... there are apparently also more reddish ones. The stone looks noble - we already like it. Of course, it is hard to imagine over a larger area... but that’s what the pictures on the internet are for.

we bought clinker paving stones. they are from abc Klinker in midnight gray. 143 sqm. unfortunately, the garden landscaper can’t get to it, is too busy and keeps postponing us. large slabs with fewer joints were also our topic, but there are also a few tricks to reduce growth in the joints. large slabs would have cost a total of 2000€ more because of supposedly more complicated installation (material also costs more) and would have only been concrete. now we have fired bricks, they last forever.
