Hello Nörgli,

True......I always find that a challenge too.

Sure, then 2 small ones are a pain........ you need 2x drawers and those are “expensive.”
2x 40x60 cost 94 euros. Veddinge doors 18 euros
1x 80x60 costs 55 euros. VEDDINGE door 13 euros.
That makes 44 euros more expensive plus the carcass was something with 17 euros as well.
And still you don’t have the large drawer.

True, somehow in the middle between 2 glass cabinets........ but if there are OPEN cabinets next to them,
then that doesn’t work. It would work well, but for me, for example, that wouldn’t be right either.

Well then maybe open would be something anyway. Or for example, on the wall cabinets only the 60-wide back panel, then there is still air above and not so much wall covered.

Bye Sabine

I have another crafting question again...

Has anyone ever tried to equip two drawers with one front? For example, in an 80 cm wide and a 60 cm wide base cabinet standing next to each other, each with a 40 cm high drawer at the bottom, to connect them with a 140 cm front in such a way that both drawers are pulled out simultaneously? (With either one handle in the middle or two handles further outside.)

Of course, you would have to drill the holes yourself, but would it even be possible to connect them? I assume you would first have to insert the drawers into the cabinet so that it really fits in the end?

Edit: Something like this:

That is doable, even with the hideous handles. What is supposed to be the advantage of that?

Nothing against my fancy handles, hey!

The advantage would be that 80 60 looks dumb with the 40 60 40 drawers above. So it would be a purely visual decision and is just a quick idea to begin with...

40 - 60 - 40 would be visually okay, but 80 is naturally more space-efficient than 2 x 40.

For a BOBDÜNN front, the handles are still okay, but certainly not on a modern smooth VEDDINGE...

Now I really didn't think it through. If you have 40 - 60 - 40 carcasses, you can't install an 80 cm wide pull-out in the carcasses, or are different carcasses supposed to be stacked?
