So this is PowerLAN - not really convincing. LAN in all rooms is much easier and ultimately cheaper. You can also easily restrict access to the network centrally - not just by removing the adapter, which can easily be forgotten.

Well, to be honest, I don't want to deal with it in detail and already have two boys in PC age. For us, this was the better alternative for the children's room. In the living and working rooms, we still have direct network connections. Ultimately, everyone decides for themselves what they need and what they don't.

Okay, you can see it one way or another - how restricted do you make your children’s surfing behavior? Nowadays, you should certainly deal with this, because the internet is a monster... I would definitely not let my children surf freely.

Child protection in Kaspersky + time control in the Fritzbox with a separate account with fixed IP for each child.
