House number on the garage is always a great idea ...

additionally, we also have the glass element in our front door as lettering with the house number (of course illuminated)

As far as I know, the rescue services also have access to property maps and that kind of stuff. I think they can reliably find houses even without a number on them. But of course, you should still have a visible house number.

Not even a GPS in the ambulance or at the fire department is standard today. So I wouldn't rely on the emergency services searching for the house on some maps. Finding a house in the dark with a poorly visible house number can become a real challenge (personal experience in the fire department + statements from comrades working in emergency services). You have to keep in mind that especially the emergency services are not always familiar with the area, as the approach can also come from farther away.

So anyone who wants help quickly or doesn't want to explain every time to visitors, [Der Spedition] or [Postboten] where they live should simply mark their house properly.

If you rely on that, it could happen that you find yourself as a mummy in the Egyptian Museum someday.
No, none of the emergency services has that with them nor do they have access to it.
In addition, there are quite trivial but often crucial circumstances such as darkness, rain, and stressed helpers, which can often make quick assistance difficult.
The importance of quick recognizability should be far ahead of the consideration of design here. If both apply, even better.

But the control center has access to it, right? I mean, I think I saw something about that on TV once?
At least the fire department found us last time when our basement flooded.
