Depends, among other things, on the orientation of the front door. If the front door is located in the north, the sunlight is not enough to charge the battery. I wanted that too, then I did a test with an ordinary solar lamp. It only gave light rarely and sparsely. Our additional solar terrace lamps in the south also only shine if it was really sunny all day. Only the solar light chains and torches still shine. There may be better quality for more yield, but really shining all night - especially if there is an awning, probably not. Warning, just a layman's answer :-)
