My number is also available painted black. Otherwise, something like this could also be installed on a carrier plate for contrast enhancement.

I believe Yvonne means the effect that the number on the brick facade virtually disappears like in a visual puzzle: the line width is about the height of one layer, the pattern is large-scale and regular. You probably all know those "intelligence test challenges" where in a picture there are a hundred "8"s and you have to spot a "9" among them, and the task says something like: "only 1% of your friends solved the task in under 3 seconds."

Or a classic enamel sign (available in blue, black, anthracite, red as background with white lettering). Maybe not to everyone's taste, but the number is easy to read.

That's exactly right! No idea. It's not my problem! If you have a solution, you can let the other clinker comrades know.

The regulations regarding house numbers sometimes have completely absurd tendencies. Triggered by the thread, I researched what applies to us. In the process, I had to read that it is partly forbidden, for example, to write 1B, partly it is forbidden to write 1B, and vice versa. In a municipality near Munich, it is prescribed that all houses must have a number in white on a blue background. The reasoning: "otherwise everyone and his dog would do whatever they want." Really absurd. We were also informed of how our house number is to appear with the official notification of our house number. Fortunately, moderately. Still, as if we had no other problems.

Yes, in our city (if I understand correctly, our municipality has not adopted all the rules) it is regulated that the number is placed to the right side of the front door ... no comment ...
