… but you’ve probably already seen them all live?!

The house is a two-family house and consists of two completely separate units. One was occupied by the owner, the other was rented out.
The basement room has 4 windows facing the (north) garden. The ground floor is raised ground level.

I excluded both houses with 130 sqm. We now live in a comparable size and definitely want to expand. It often depends on the layout, but we managed to fit more into our old dwelling with less living space, and here unpacked boxes are piling up in the basement.

I had already had my eye on the other house (151 sqm), but after a conversation with the real estate agent and the indication that the basement is damp, I stepped back.

Judging by your last post in the green forum, you have really become infatuated with the idea of having a subtenant, haven’t you?
Even if the idea excites you more than others: you are paying for the second living unit and also have to renovate it. The reward is having to deal with every little issue and never being alone. But who knows? Maybe the future tenant will be your son’s new nurse.

Where do you read that into it?

Something else was written just now.
But it would be that the main apartment has no garden access, while the separate dwelling has the garden under its care?

I have to be honest: it seems to me as if we have already discussed this house here before.

(… Because you are asking for confirmation.)
