"k" !!!
TitanzinK is the (misspelled above). I always confuse tin and zinc.

Brass (Meszink, that's how I remember it) and bronze are copper -, with either one or the other.
Similar and yet completely different ....

are these actually the most recent pictures?

I would like to see how it looks with plants and curtains ... "finished," basically.

Yesterday a roofer was here and, when asked about a metal covering for the porch roof, said: "challenging, but of course doable." He suggested covering the entire area (except for the gable edge) with one sheet, which means the sheet will have a solder seam because roofer sheets are only up to 1 x 3 meters in size. Since a soft-soldered seam does not hold securely at that size, he advises hard soldering (which I can hardly believe is possible, but that is how I understood him). Then copper would probably be the most suitable material. At the lower edge, the sheet would extend 2 to 3 centimeters over and would have to be bent slightly downwards so that water is not drawn back up on the underside - between the wood and the sheet - by capillary forces. I am still happily occupied with it. Corona times are great for my considerations. I have time and no pressure to deliver results quickly. In the meantime, I have already built many models and pondered various options...

"Verdigris" on the roof. I really like the green color, but in all cases I have observed, the copper turned black (also okay, but not what I want). It is "always" said that near the sea it would turn green due to the atmosphere and that the green can also be artificially produced (with acid). I suspect that there are few people who really understand this well because the coloring process takes ages and probably changes continuously depending on the atmosphere.

My consideration is to give my small copper roof an artificial - green - patina, but I assume that the green (if it even succeeds) will turn black after a few years because I do not live by the sea. In that case, I would save myself the trouble and choose a different "technique." Elsewhere on the house titanium zinc is probably used, and I don’t particularly like the material change anyway. However, I would like something livelier than the titanium zinc gray for this spot. I have also thought about gilding (for real). I have done something similar before and am satisfied with the result, but that would be too expensive for me (and especially for my wife).
