But the collectors are on the roof, aren't they?

Why does the kitchen become dark if it faces south?

In the penultimate post, I corrected myself, i.e., changed the indication of the cardinal direction; accordingly, the utility room has the door facing north. And the kitchen faces south or west. If I were to swap that, the case described above would occur.

.. when swapping the utility room/kitchen, the kitchen will be on the east side and also on the top of the plan facing north. But, the site plan is still missing to get an idea of what is possible.

However, I agree with you 100% that a kitchen directly on the terrace is about 100 times more important than a living-sofa-lounging area directly on the terrace. Because, when do you actually sit there .. mostly in the evenings. But, terrace, kitchen, grilling, kids coming in and wanting a quick drink etc., are also the reasons for me to plan a kitchen, if at all possible, on the main terrace.

Why actually both a storage room AND a utility room upstairs? Do you really need the storage room? If not, then do without it and make one room a bedroom and one a dressing room, then the problem with the too small bedroom is already solved. We also have a so-called 4-gable house. We have the utility room in the same place as you. Where you have the living room, we have the kitchen; the dining room is the same for us, and where your kitchen is, we have the living room. That way, the kitchen is right next to the utility room.

I will finish a plan tomorrow and record everything, then it will be easier to explain than just off the cuff. I am at work right now and that’s difficult there.

Yes.. I think I made a mistake with the measurements... Nevertheless, you have to squeeze yourself into a maximum washing flap at a height of 1 meter under a slope to push the laundry down. Why don’t you put the washing machine and dryer in the utility room upstairs?

Yes, it would be nice if you stick to the questionnaire , then we all have the info.
