Good evening,
as some of you may have already gathered from other threads, we are planning a single-family house in a one-and-a-half-story construction. Now I would like to hear your initial assessments and suggestions for changes.
Briefly about the house. The exterior dimensions are approximately 10.60 × 9.10. The knee wall is planned with a raw construction measure of 1m. On the plans, north is at the top of the plan. On the south side, i.e., the entrance, a Frisian gable or dormer is planned, and on the rear side, if the budget allows, a trapezoid dormer.
I hope I have included the most important information; if not, I will provide it later.

Regards and many thanks

Hello,
with which roof pitch is it supposed to be built? A lot might not work because of the slope (see [Wäscheabwurfschacht]).
Please draw in the 2-meter line, otherwise the design cannot be evaluated.

Thanks, Yvonne

Morning

well then...
- quite a lot of corners
- very difficult to furnish
- chimney on the upper floor should be in the middle of the hallway
- what's the point of the corner in the entrance area in front of the stairs
similarly on the upper floor

- And where will your TV go in the living room?
- Gable above the entrance without function and wasted money.
- Access to the terrace is complicated - moving chairs is inevitable.
- The bedroom won’t really work like this. Unfortunately, I can’t see a 2m line but I doubt that a 2-meter high wardrobe fits where it is drawn, and if it does, barely. The passage between bed and wardrobe is too narrow, you have to sit on the bed to open the wardrobe, the same on the other side. You can’t rely on any assistance (e.g. crutches or other temporary disabilities).
- Hallway area on the ground floor is way too big. Hallway on the upper floor will be dark.
- Where did the chimney on the upper floor go? It seems to stand in the middle of the hallway upstairs.

- convoluted
- living room furnishings are unfortunate
- access to the kitchen is unfortunate
- bedroom too narrow
- expensive gable and no window in it?!
- elevations and dimensions would be helpful
- reconsider door hinges in some cases

So planned is 45 degrees. Actually, the laundry chute is no longer planned.
I will draw in the 2-meter line tomorrow, but I actually calculated that the cupboard should fit.

I have not yet installed the chimney or I haven’t figured it out so far.
The corner could also serve as a wardrobe but honestly it happened by chance. We also want the cross gable/Frisian gable for aesthetic reasons.

Is the hallway area really too large? The width between stairs and wall is about 2.10.
If that is the case, I will reduce the hallway and allocate the gained space to the other rooms.
