There is probably at least one house in Germany where the entire off-grid system works. At least that's what the YouTube video I watched about it claims... But yes, the effort is high. Facade photovoltaics, just to name one keyword.
I think we watched the same post.
Picea Selbst, however, states a significantly higher number of Autak units that they have already sold.
Of course, at first, that's just the seller trying to make it appealing :)
But for my part, I also initially see the point of being Autak.
Saving money that can initially go towards the loan.
And on top of that, you're also doing something good for the environment :) At least when it comes to the climate ^^
What do you guys generally say?
Masonry or prefab house?
Basement or rather put the technical room somewhere else?
The basement tempts us because it gains a lot of storage space, and especially because of the tech hobby, there would be even more space to accommodate the equipment.
And in comparison to what a basement costs versus regular living space.
The basement can be built in such a way that rooms can still be made "livable" later on.
At first, you just have to make sure that the ceiling height is suitable for a residential basement.
Although "residential basement" is too much said, but you can still come up with ideas years later on how to use the storage/clutter space more sensibly ^^
Sounds weird again ^^
Oh man, I hope someone understands what I mean.
For example, there could be space for a child's room in case we rethink it in 5 years (just an example ^^)
