You can start well with the plot of land: If it has a slope, then the decision "basement/living basement" can already be crossed off. The house should also suit the plot. Hello :) So we want to avoid a sloping site. Although we come from the Harz, there are still many flat plots here. We already follow the mentioned Hausbauhelden ^^ Their affordable houses are also the look we are looking for. However, their price ranges are often above what we imagine. We are basically still clueless about where to really start. I think first at the bank and meanwhile look at show houses.
