Well, but you actually have a pure radio solution... with Homematic devices, which have already been classified as insecure several times...

Radio solutions are actually intended for retrofitting existing buildings and not for new constructions... so I wouldn't rely on them if I am practically still sitting in front of a blank slate...

Hello. We have received an offer from our electrician with a KNX system. Very expensive! Is there an alternative? We are looking for an intelligent blind control system for wind, room temperature, solar radiation, absence regulation. Or are we forgetting something important?

How much is "very expensive" if I may ask? I'm also currently interested in the whole KNX thing. Alternatives are e.g. Loxone or Busch&jaeger.

I am also in the process of informing myself about home automation for new buildings. My current favorite is LCN. Does anyone here have experience with it? I also want indoor temperature, shutters (time + sun controlled), window contact, light control, and socket control.

.. YES .. the programs and installation against hacker attacks, the modern-day burglars can then open the front door via smartphone without leaving fingerprints, enter, lower the shutters, and rob the house at their leisure

That's not true at all. If you want to retrofit a socket to be "switchable" later, a flush-mounted actuator will do. Of course, the channel price is more expensive than with a 16-fold REG, but it's okay for retrofitting.
