if you only want to control your roller shutters and blinds, Somfy would be an affordable solution. For example, in our future house I can centrally control the roller shutters also via mobile phone, wind and sun control is also possible. for 21 windows including terrace doors, the fun cost us about 6000€ extra, with the radio control even cheaper than pure group switches.

Well, for an additional 6k you can already get roller shutters, lighting, and sockets with KNX, you just have to find someone who knows about it and not just take any random company

I was told during a phone conversation that with many roller shutters (>15) and flexible grouping, Somfy does not become cheaper. The conversation with verifiable numbers is hopefully going to take place on Thursday with the KNX planner. In parallel, Somfy prices are being requested through your roller shutter installer. In any case, a roller shutter control (groups, weather, sun position, calendar) is planned, and if the budget allows, a complete KNX installation.

It has been decided that the entire house will be equipped with a KNX bus. Initially, there will be no visualization and no remote control of the house.

So first a conventional wiring or already with KNX switches, etc.?
