That is the lowest base price for a heat pump tariff available to me. Not the base price for normal household electricity. I only calculate what the separate tariff costs me. The base price of household electricity does not matter there, because those are sunk costs. ==> so for me 240€ base price additionally, so that I can save 150€.

That doesn’t really add up. It just depends on where you live. You just shouldn’t generalize but always calculate individually.

With us, it also varies from year to year..

Currently 22 cents for heat pump with 12 euro basic fee, was once 17 cents 3 years ago then up to 27 cents.
And household 27 cents with 14 euro basic fee. But was also once at 31 cents.

Currently the tariff unfortunately only runs until May as it goes back to 31 cents.. and 15 euro basic fee.
Haven't found anything cheaper yet.

Household 4500kw and heat pump 4000kw.

4000x0.22 +12 x 12 are 1040 per year

Difference approx. 200 euro in favor of heat pump tariff.

Whether it is financially worthwhile or not is only a secondary question in this case. The operators need this option of temporally (tight) limited load shedding in order to keep the grids stable.

In this respect, it is on the one hand highly unsolidary, which would not be anything new in the land of egomaniacs.
If, however, everyone operates their heat pumps at the normal electricity tariff, it will on the other hand sooner or later (rather sooner) lead to a general obligation for the second meter (with network operators' override option) and the heat pump tariff will simply disappear. Because if the meter is made mandatory anyway, the incentive of cheaper electricity is no longer needed.

As everywhere. If everyone has their vehicle repaired at their preferred workshop and not in the companies selected by the insurance, insurance premiums will simply rise for everyone.

New heat pumps must be designed to be switchable anyway, so that a second meter is not necessary.

And that is why I am supposed to pay more heating costs over the years now? I don’t know about that. Then the operators have to come up with a better solution. Finding a solution for this is really not the consumer’s problem.
