Hello dear Ikea fans,
we have decided on Grevsta fronts for part of our kitchen. On the one hand, because for the 45cm dishwasher Hjälpsam only Ringhult and Grevsta are available – the rest of the kitchen has Bodbyn (gray) –, on the other hand, because the existing Siemens oven also has a stainless steel front. Besides, the combination of an oak countertop and stainless steel is also very nice.
Now to the problem: Unfortunately, the dishwasher front has a noticeably different color than the other adjacent Grevsta fronts. Both the 20cm drawer of the oven cabinet and the front for a 20cm pull-out cabinet, which was purchased today, are significantly lighter. Drawer and cabinet front appear to be the same and also match the oven well. Together, however, the whole thing now looks rather mishmash and no longer “noble”.
Have you had similar experiences with the Grevsta fronts? Is this “normal”? Can you complain – especially if the dishwasher front was already installed with sliding hinge and handle?
