Gray/Anthracite-colored windows - the new "white"?

every time a window is open, you see the darkness.

But it is not unpleasant.

Now it feels like every new building has gray windows. Is gray the new white now or rather a "fad"?

When did your spaceship land on Earth or how long were you in a coma that anthracite windows seem new to you?

Used to be always clinker brick, where white window frames were okay.
Now, almost exclusively white plaster within the budget -

Not only because of the budget, but also because nowadays there are better wall constructions and plasters/paints that make a clinker facade less attractive in terms of price-performance.

But yes, exactly this leads to more colorful windows again. White only appeared with plastic frames. Before that, they were just brown wood...

But it doesn’t stand out unpleasantly.

We want white on white but I don’t find it bad at all when the dark color “intrudes” at friends’ houses...

Frame and handleless. Rest aluminum. Anthracite has been in fashion forever. The trend is towards super matte. It only causes problems (scratches, dirt adhesion, different thermal expansion, etc.) Build the house for yourselves and not according to what is currently supposedly modern.

Wood-look exterior, white interior.

We are also considering that. Wood-look windows, anthracite roof, anthracite front door with wood elements.

Doesn't stand out unpleasantly.

In the end, it's a matter of taste. It would have bothered us. White is timeless. For that reason, we want to add some color elsewhere. But the facade would also be painted faster than I would eventually install new windows :-P
