Gray/Anthracite-colored windows - the new "white"?

RAL 9007 is great, we also use it for door frames, garage doors and venetian blinds, or roller shutters.

I also had to assert myself a bit, at first "of course" anthracite/white was planned.

And solar modules are similar to those for photovoltaics, primarily technical components, less design-optimized.

Maybe solar modules will someday have the status of a car, which are also technical but still design-optimized. But that is probably a discussion that does not belong here.

Who has a red roof and some spare change to contribute?

We will have a red roof soon, but I don’t know yet if there will still be any "spare change" left. In my opinion, however, this could become a lucrative niche product, because with a bit more money for house construction I would not accept anthracite-colored solar thermal modules on a red or otherwise light-colored roof.

One should not put solar thermal systems on the roof anymore anyway. They never pay off and were only a transitional technology when photovoltaics were still too expensive.

: I am less interested in solar thermal energy. Photovoltaics in red is not a real problem.
