I need to take some current photos again. Here is a selection from the last 3.5 years ([Garten wurde im Frühjahr 2020 angelegt]) I tried to mainly pick those where you can especially see the privacy screen and how we used the other areas - none of which are really big. We don't have any lawn at all.

I like everything there!
A house garden is much nicer when you sit with the neighbors in sight of each other!

Thank you Climbee, exactly the part I meant for the side of the house

With the garden shed, the neighbor's front door is away. Do you know which rooms belong to you.

Unfortunately not.

The garden from Climbee is really very beautiful and well thought out. Unfortunately, its style is quite different from what we imagine. Difficult to copy anything from it,

Ah thanks, I knew it by the name climbing aid. Do you then combine several plants, or always use the same one? Unfortunately, I have not yet found any modern-looking plant for this.

That’s true. Above the plan are rental apartments and rather unkempt. The planting is not random, but always several shrubs/hedge plants in one row, then staggered again another row. The sandy path used to be lawn, but was turned into a field by the neighbors playing ball.
To the left of the plan, condominiums are being built and we assume that the owners also want some privacy and that the condition is not quite as indifferent to them as it is to the tenants above the plan.

Thank you very much for the drawing, it is now clearer and especially already a great basis for us!
We are a young family, 1 son, and we want him to be able to play in the garden with a small sandbox or slide (temporary, nothing bulky). Not for sunbathing (for that the rooftop terrace is intended as suspected). Otherwise, a small opportunity for daily relaxation with coffee or grilling with friends. Actually, it only needs a few nice plants in well-thought-out places for well-being and some space for the little one.

Does courtyard garden mean completely fenced with an opaque fence? That would be too cramped for us with the small property and is not our goal.

Could you possibly send us your drawing in 3D or the link to edit? From above it’s not entirely clear what is what and it looks like you already thought about the purpose for the individual plants. Many thanks in any case to you, , I believe you already put us on the right path about two years ago during the kitchen planning!

Do you mean modern plants/garden something that looks sterile and matches RAL 7042? Then grasses or something like that with catnip and hostas are recommended.

Yes, exactly. I already knew the grasses, but they are not climbing plants and they become quite wide if you want them to be reasonably opaque.

However, somewhat inspired by Climbee's garden, we now had the idea to set up a few posts or similar made of corten steel and plant something in between. Smaller plants in front of that. More steel in front of the window and then less on the left and right so that it does not look too bulky.
