Funding outside of KFW - What still makes sense now?

If you want to save money, skip the garage and build a carport. You can pour the pier foundations yourself and the kit is available cheap. You can still enclose the carport on the side later ;)

Money worries? When did I write that? I'm trying to put together the best offer that suits our needs. Of course, you never do that yourself, right? And a double garage is considered a luxury or what?

A double garage is really expensive. Usually significantly more expensive than both cars combined. A car can also be parked outside. Dry in the carport and no longer having to scrape ice in the morning is the small luxury. Garage is the big luxury. If you want to save money, this is one of the points where you can start without real sacrifice.

As it looks at the moment, we will have to move the garage or the carport anyway. The [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung] is more important to me then, because I believe it also brings more health benefits.

I find it really awful how people here sometimes get attacked when they ask about savings potential or subsidies. Even if he wanted to park two Ferraris in the double garage and had a few million in the bank, he still has the same right to ask about savings potential or a subsidy!? No one gives anything away for free, and usually people have worked for their money, so why give something away? Yes, theoretically a subsidy has a different purpose, but I would like to meet the Samaritan who leaves a subsidy unused to sacrifice it for someone else if he can simply take it with him when going for a walk...
