Full basement hobby and office - underfloor heating, e-radiator or infrared heating?

My thoughts:
- The hobby room will probably only be used for relatively few hours - maybe 10 per week at most.
- The office is intended for office work now and then - so not "full home office," especially since I still have space upstairs as of now... could potentially also become a gym or something - so rather multifunctional. More likely definitely not a permanent living space.

How do you imagine that? With its inertia, you would have to turn on the underfloor heating 4 hours in advance... does your life work with this 4-hour lead time? Sport wouldn't really be the problem now. I would probably choose IR.

I don't know much, but isn't the underfloor heating so sluggish that you’d have to run it in the basement almost continuously for the few hours per week? Deciding to watch a movie in an hour just isn't possible, right?
I tend towards the infrared solution. What do you think?

Well, I said that I want to choose between these three options and, for the reasons you mentioned, lean towards IR – I just wanted to hear what your opinions are. I'm glad you see it similarly to me, even though you’re acting like I said I absolutely want underfloor heating in the basement ;)
